Lidl recalls two varieties of Chorizo from the market due to potential cold chain interruption

Lidl has recalled two Chorizo varieties, 'Martínez Somalo Chorizo BBQ' and 'Martínez Somalo Chorizo BBQ Picante Spicy', due to a possible interruption in the cold chain. The affected products, from Hijo de José Martínez Somalo, must be returned to the point of sale for a full refund, even without a receipt.
Lidl has withdrawn two specific Chorizo varieties from the market: "Martínez Somalo Chorizo BBQ" and "Martínez Somalo Chorizo BBQ Picante Spicy". The reason for this recall is a possible break in the cold chain, which affects product safety.
The affected items come from the manufacturer Hijo de José Martínez Somalo. It is important to note that the recall is limited to these specific products. Each individually packaged item weighs 375 grams and has a stated best-before date.
Consumers must therefore return the items immediately. A full refund is available, even without presenting a cash register receipt. Customers are asked to return the affected products to the point of sale without delay to rule out health risks.
