Diaconal House in Jever dismisses employee due to AfD candidacy

A diaconal house in Jever dismissed an employee after she ran as an AfD candidate in the state elections in Lower Saxony. Mission Lebenshaus, the company that took this measure, cited a "question of stance" as the reason for the termination. The dismissed employee vehemently denies the termination, accuses her employer of pressuring her, and is now planning legal action. The situation was heightened by the public support of the diaconal institution from a Member of the Bundestag of the AfD. This Member of the Bundestag showed his support for the institution in a video and also filed a criminal complaint against it.
