Amazon increases prices for its own electronics products in the US

Amazon announces a price adjustment for several of its own electronic products on the US market. Affected devices include, among others, Echo speakers, Kindle e-readers, and Fire TV Sticks. Particularly noticeable is the price development for the Echo Dot, whose price is rising significantly. The Kindle with 16 GB of storage is also affected, and another significant price increase was recorded for the Fire TV Stick 4K Max, which is expected to become about 42 percent more expensive. These adjustments thus affect various areas of the Amazon ecosystem.
