Altana reports half-year results: Revenue and EBITDA rise with focus on research and development

Altana announced positive half-year results, showing revenue growth of 3.1% to 1.7 billion euros and an EBITDA increase of 14.4%. The company continues to strongly focus on innovation by investing seven percent of its revenue in R&D, maintaining a global balance across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

The global player Altana has published its half-year results, reporting both an increase in revenue and a higher EBITDA. According to the company, revenue in the first half of the year amounted to approximately 1.7 billion euros, representing a 3.1% increase compared to the same period last year. In parallel, the adjusted profit, EBITDA, rose by 14.4% to 332 million euros.

A central pillar of the company's strategy is its strong commitment to research and development (R&D). The company invests seven percent of its revenue annually in this area to secure its innovative strength. Although the USA represents the largest market for the company and generates one-fifth of the total revenue, Altana emphasizes the global balance of its portfolio and maintains a worldwide balanced market presence covering the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

These results not only underscore operational growth but also the strategic anchoring in future developments through continuous investment in research and development.
