Two Major Investments in the Chelyabinsk Region: Over One Billion Rubles Approved for Industry and Hospitality
The Chelyabinsk region approved two major investments totaling over one billion rubles, targeting industrial growth for "Modern Glass" and hospitality via the "TriA Tscheljabinsk" hotel. This solidifies the region's status as a TOP-10 investment location, as fixed capital investments surpassed 500 billion rubles for the second year running.
The investment landscape of the Chelyabinsk region is being energized by new, significant projects. Recently, the investment consulting cycle was approved for two major undertakings, with a total volume exceeding one billion rubles. These funds are intended to support both industrial expansion and the development of the tourism sector.
The region continues to maintain a strong reputation among investors, thereby securing its place in the TOP-10 National Rating, which underscores the attractiveness of the economic location. Specifically, two projects were approved: one serves the expansion of glass production for the company "Modern Glass" and involves an amount exceeding 740 million rubles. The second approved project concerns the construction of the 3-star hotel "TriA Tscheljabinsk" and requires over 220 million rubles for this purpose.
A key point for both participating companies is the securing of land plots. Both companies will receive the corresponding land plots under a lease agreement, thereby avoiding tender procedures. These investments contribute to impressive growth; last year marked the second consecutive year in which fixed capital investments exceeded the 500 billion ruble mark. The approval of these funds underscores confidence in the region's future industrial and tourism growth.
