Specifically, it was determined that the 787 had four destroyed tires upon stopping, and both the landing gear and the fuselage were damaged. In contrast, the Lufthansa A380 taxied without incident and reached its designated parking spot. Given these occurrences, the Federal Aviation Office (BFU) has begun investigating the causes.
