Traffic restrictions in Primorye due to flooding

Traffic restrictions in Primorye due to flooding

Due to high water, the Border and Terney districts of Primorye Krai face significant traffic restrictions, including road closures and access bans. However, positive developments include the reopening of passage to Gvozdovo and improved access within the Khorolsky district.

In parts of the Primorye Krai, there are currently traffic restrictions due to high water, with the districts of Border and Terney being particularly affected. In the Border district, passage for cars between Nesterovka and Zharikovo is blocked because the water is up to 20 cm high. Furthermore, access to Sadovoye in the Border district is restricted due to flooding up to 35 cm. Movement on Dalnevostochnaya Street is also restricted in Zharikovo, which is due to erosion damage to bridge diversions.

In the further affected area, the Terney district, the Klyuchi — Zhigit road is closed at the fifth kilometer of this route, due to reported flooding of over 50 cm. Despite these widespread restrictions, there is positive news regarding the restoration of transport links. Specifically, passage to Gvozdovo in the Khasansky district has been restored. Access has also been restored in the Khorolsky district, particularly in the areas of Popovka and between Leninskaya Street and Vadimovskaya Street.
