Tornado hits Fürstenwalde and causes considerable damage

In the afternoon on Wednesday, a tornado swept over Fürstenwalde, leaving visible damage. The storm hit the city around 5:15 PM. The effects were varied, including damaged roofs and uprooted trees. Particularly severe was the damage to the roof of a kindergarten center, which injured an 18-year-old driver due to a falling tree. Numerous emergency services were on site, with the fire department being particularly heavily involved. The rescue services quickly secured the affected scene and provided care to the injured. Experts later confirmed that the weather event was indeed a tornado.
