Kaluga is planning a nighttime bike tour for August 28th, which will cause significant temporary traffic disruptions. The event is expected to affect eight streets and several important locations, requiring the closure of several central areas during the late evening.
Initially affected areas include the vicinity of the Old Market Hall and Siegplatz, as well as Lenin Street and Kirov Street, which will be closed between 10:30 PM and 11:30 PM. A little later, from 10:50 PM to 11:40 PM, sections of Gagarin Street, Akademika Korolewa Street, and Mira Square will also be closed.
The closures will extend into the later evening hours. Pushkina Street and Bazhenova Street will be closed from 11:00 PM to 11:50 PM. Therefore, planning road users are asked to thoroughly check the announced time slots and affected streets to avoid disruptions.
