SFR Data: Average Pensions for Unemployed and Employed Russians

The current data from SFR illuminates the average pension levels in Russia, while also revealing regional differences and future developments. As of July 1st, the average pension for unemployed citizens was 25,834 rubles. Although this figure represents a general average, the regional differences point to significant discrepancies.

When examining the regional distribution, distinct differences stand out. The highest average pension amount was recorded in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug at 43,965 rubles, while Dagestan reported the lowest average pension at 19,256 rubles. This data shows that not all regions have the same level; in fact, six regions reported average pensions exceeding the 40,000 ruble mark.

Looking to the future, there are forecasts for retirement provision. The average social pension amount is expected to reach 16,500 rubles in 2026, providing an indication of future public expectations.

Regarding general perception, a survey from the Russian field suggests that a pension level perceived as comfortable is around 80,000 rubles. This contrasts with the current average data and reflects the expectations of the general public.
