Police Officer Reports to Committee: No Location Found for Bella in the Pool

A police officer reported to a committee that the search for Bella's body in the pool was hampered by thick algae growth obscuring the 80 cm deep floor. Despite night searches, including net combing and thermal camera inspection, no remains were found until Bella was discovered dead on the surface the next morning. The public prosecutor's office is also investigating the parents regarding potential duty of care violations.

A police officer presented a report to a committee regarding the search efforts because the remains of the deceased child, Bella, were not immediately found after drowning in the pool. The search was difficult because a thick algae growth obscured the pool floor, despite thorough inspections being conducted with specialized equipment. The police officer reported that the search took place at night and included measures such as combing with a net and inspecting the pool floor. The algae caused significant turbidity, making the approximately 80 cm deep pool floor invisible. Even a search using a thermal imaging camera by a firefighter yielded no relevant results; Bella was only discovered dead on the surface the next morning. Parallel to this, the public prosecutor's office is investigating the parents' duty of care due to possible injuries.
