Partial Closure of Quarantine Street in Sevastopol Begins on September 15 Due to Tunnel Construction

Starting September 15, partial traffic restrictions begin in Quarantine Street due to tunnel construction between Pozharova and General Petrova Streets. This project aims to relieve traffic on Admiral Oktyabrsky Street with a new 317-meter tunnel, with construction scheduled until December 2029. This effort is part of a national program renovating 61 streets in Sevastopol.
Partial traffic restrictions in Quarantine Street will take effect starting September 15. These measures are due to the construction of a tunnel that will run between Pozharova Street and General Petrova Street. The temporary closures are planned until June 1, 2027.
The central goal of the project is to relieve traffic on Admiral Oktyabrsky Street with a new tunnel 317 meters long. Furthermore, the plan includes the construction of a ring intersection at the junction of Pozharova and Streletsky Descent. The entire tunnel construction is scheduled to be completed by December 2029.
This structural measure is part of a broader, national renovation program, within which a total of 61 streets over a length of 26.3 kilometers throughout Sevastopol will be repaired.
