MTS reports massive revenue growth and profit increase in the second quarter of 2026

MTS reported a net profit of 66.9 billion rubles for Q2 2026, a 23.9-fold increase, supported by group revenue rising 9.2% to 213.5 billion rubles. Despite this quarter's strength, the net profit fell 28% versus FY 2025, and shareholders approved a 70 billion ruble dividend.
Telecom giant MTS recorded a significant increase in its net profit in the second quarter of 2026. The company reported a net profit of 66.9 billion rubles, which represents an increase of 23.9 times. This impressive rise was underpinned by strong revenue growth: Group revenue increased by 9.2 percent to 213.5 billion rubles, and the adjusted operating profit before depreciation (OIBDA) grew by 16.3 percent to 84.6 billion rubles.
In addition to these financial figures, MTS also announced information regarding its operational business: The Russian subscriber base reached a level of 84.1 million users. However, compared to the full fiscal year 2025, MTS's net profit under IFRS recorded a decrease of 28 percent.
Despite these results and the robust performance in the current quarter, shareholders approved a dividend payout of a total of 70 billion rubles.
