Iranian President Concedes: National Challenges Go Beyond the Economy

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian admitted that the national difficulties represent a multifaceted problem area that is not limited solely to the economy. While the government continues to strive to reduce inflation, the president highlighted deeply rooted imbalances in several critical infrastructure sectors, including water, electricity, gas, gasoline, the environment, and banking. Pezeshkian explicitly attributed these sectoral imbalances to the legacy of his administration. Despite external pressures, including threats from the United States, the president expressed his deep confidence in the solidarity and resilience of the nation.
