An unmanned aerial vehicle attack has caused significant damage in the Tambow region. Specifically, a mobile mast in Shulgino was taken out of service by a drone, and other local facilities sustained property damage. A two-story house was damaged in its glazing, as was the village council's veranda. Fortunately, no injuries were reported after the incident. Given the severity of the event, the regional commander, Evgeni Pervyschow, demanded the deployment of a full BARS unit. He referred to the night of July 18, 2026, which was described as the largest drone attack on Tambow since the beginning of the Special Military Operation (SMO), and emphasized that this incident underscores the ongoing threat from such attacks in the region.
