Doctors in Primorye Save Kidney Function Through Minimally Invasive Surgery

Doctors from Primorye successfully performed an operation to preserve the patient's only functioning kidney. The situation was critical because the left kidney had failed, meaning the right kidney was bearing the entire load. A malignant neoplasm was discovered in the right kidney. To make the procedure as gentle as possible, the surgeons used a laparoscopic operation with minimal incisions. After the removal of the tumor, the histological examination revealed an early stage of cancer. Given these developments, the prognosis for the patient is considered favorable.
