Consequences of a Drone Attack in the Rostov Region
Around 30 drones were shot down in the Rostov region overnight, causing damage to residential buildings and sparking several fires. The most affected areas were Gukovo, Kamensk-Shakhtinsk, and Novoshakhtinsk. Fire services are currently working intensely to control the resulting blazes.
During the night, reports indicated that around 30 drones were shot down in the Rostov region. This event had far-reaching consequences for the affected areas, as the falling drones caused damage to residential buildings and also triggered several natural fires. The areas of Gukovo, Kamensk-Shakhtinsk, and Novoshakhtinsk were particularly affected. Concrete damage was recorded in Novoshakhtinsk, where four single-family houses sustained damage to glass, roofs, and doors. Furthermore, a forest fire of 4.5 hectares was reported in the Kamensky district. In view of these developments, fire services are currently working intensively to extinguish the fires in several districts and bring the situation under control to minimize damage.
