Car loan issuance in Russia fell by 12.6 percent in July. The Chelyabinsk region followed suit, reporting a 12.7 percent decrease in issued car loans compared to the previous month. These figures suggest a general slowdown in credit demand across the automotive sector both nationally and regionally.
Car loan issuance in Russia shows a clear decline, a trend that is also reflected in the Chelyabinsk region. Overregional data prove that the total number of car loans issued in Russia decreased by 12.6 percent in July, amounting to 91.4 thousand units at the national level. The Chelyabinsk region mirrors this development: In July, car loans worth 2.68 thousand units were issued there, which represents a decline of 12.7 percent compared to the previous month.
