City Administration Plans New Bus Line for Remote Area in Abakan
The Abakan City Administration plans a new bus line for the 9th residential district following citizen demands to improve local transport. In response to repeated citizen inquiries, the Abakan City Administration plans to establish a new bus line for the 9th residential district to improve inadequate connections through enhanced public local transport. The planned new route will serve several important streets and include additional pedestrian infrastructure. Specifically, the line will cross Sayanskaya Street, intersect Rubleva Street, and run along Zhukovskogo Street. For the realization of this route, a stable surface pavement is first required. Central components of the overall project include not only the roadway but also new sidewalks and corresponding street lighting. The major construction works are currently scheduled for next year, although the responsible officials are also examining the possibility of accelerating the project's start.
