In Buryatia, a considerable number of traffic violations and accidents were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 300 traffic violations were recorded, supplemented by 28 accidents involving property damage, some of which included injuries. Consequences were imposed in the course of enforcing traffic rules: Fourteen drivers lost their licenses due to alcohol poisoning.

Among the most serious incidents was a fatal collision with a cyclist. Specifically, a cyclist died in the Pribaikalsky district after being hit by an unknown vehicle. Furthermore, other accidents with injuries occurred in various districts. In the Tunkinsky district, a driver lost control of their vehicle and sustained injuries. In Ulan-Ude, a pedestrian was injured after being hit by a vehicle outside a crosswalk.

Security forces carried out comprehensive measures, leading to several license revocations. These figures underscore the intensive traffic monitoring and the seriousness of the incidents reported in the region.
