According to the regulation, smartphones are prohibited throughout the entire school day, including during breaks. This marks a significant interference in the use of electronic devices in daily classroom life. However, the provisions allow for exceptions: use remains permitted under certain circumstances, for example, during lunch breaks, in boarding school dormitories, and at extracurricular events.
Nevertheless, clear guidelines are set: smartphones are naturally still permitted for emergencies as well as for specific health needs. Furthermore, the regulation also provides an exception for the pedagogical use of devices in lessons, which allows for a differentiated consideration of the topic.
